How it works

NITESGON pairs electrical stimulation of the greater occipital nerve (a somatosensory pathway from the neck) with active auditory frequency-discrimination training, aiming to retrain hyperactive auditory circuits through combined somatosensory and auditory input, the same broad bimodal concept as other DCN-targeted devices, tested independently by a different research group (Trinity College Dublin).
