Trigeminal-Cervical Complex

What is it?

A brainstem hub where trigeminal (face/jaw/ear) and cervical (neck) sensory signals converge. Because it blends inputs from the whole head-and-neck region, inflammation in the middle ear can be felt as pain elsewhere, and neck or jaw problems can, in reverse, produce ear symptoms.
